Nitin serves as the VP of Engineering at Blackbird.AI. He is a versatile and visionary executive leader with over 20 years of experience in Engineering. He has dedicated his career to creating and executing major technical initiatives that consistently produce exponential growth in efficiency, performance, and best-in-class solutions. In addition to leading the Engineering department at Blackbird.AI, Nitin also serves as a Technical Advisor and Subject Matter Expert for early-stage start-ups at Primary Ventures, a premier venture firm in New York City. He collaborates with founders to provide guidance and insights on AI, monitoring, and cybersecurity best practices and help them scale and grow their businesses into future unicorns.

Nitin spent more than a decade at Microsoft building Antispam engines for Exchange and Outlook and later leading a significant security initiative for building a real-time intrusion detection pipeline for fighting hackers and catching insider threats in regards to a $10B JEDI contract for the US Department of Defense to deliver fast and actionable security detection, alerting, and analytics. Later, he led the Core Platforms Engineering Division at Dataminr to build and scale the world’s leading AI platform for real-time event and risk detection. Nitin holds a Master’s in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Stony Brook University and a second Master’s in Data Science and Machine Learning from the University of California at Berkeley.
