Announcing Blackbird.AI’s $10 Million Series A Funding Round
Posted by on September 24, 2021
When we started BLACKBIRD.AI five years ago, our mission was to build an organization that would reveal the mechanisms of disinformation and bring clarity through context to our global information ecosystem. This led us to pioneer Blackbird’s “deception detection” technology, the underlying foundation of our AI-Driven Disinformation Intelligence Platform. Today, we’re proud to say our mission is expanding as we announce a $10M Series A funding round led by Dorilton Ventures – along with Generation Ventures, Trousdale Ventures, StartFast, NetX, and an incredible group of investors and advisors that believe in our vision for an authentic future.
This announcement comes following a partnership with global communications network Weber Shandwick, where we are the exclusive technology partner for an upcoming effort to help companies combat information threats.
We are excited to welcome Daniel Freeman from Dorilton Ventures and Alistair C. M. Mitchell from Generation Ventures to our board of directors as we expedite our go-to-market efforts and continue scaling out the business.
We are very thankful to the customers, advisors, and early investors who have had faith in our vision of the future. Last, but not least — the Blackbird Team. Our people provide broad intersecting perspectives needed to solve the diverse and challenging problem we are tackling – disinformation. We are proud to be working alongside such incredible innovators to accelerate our growth with some of the largest and fastest-growing companies in the world.
If our mission excites you and you would like to contribute significantly to our journey – we’re hiring and anyone who joins will have a massive impact.
