Mark is the Chief Product Officer at Blackbird.AI and leads the company’s product strategy and delivery of market-leading Narrative Intelligence products. He has over 25 years of executive-level engineering and product management experience and a strong track record of defining and delivering high-quality, best-in-class products and services to market to a broad range of technology companies. He is a serial entrepreneur, having co-founded three start-ups, and is adept at driving zero-to-one-scale growth across numerous successful ventures. He served as CPO at AI-based Kyndi (acquired by Qlik) and was named a Technology Pioneer by the World Economic Forum in 2021. Oney also served as CPO of Granicus (acquired by K1 Capital), SVP of Product Operations at VirtuOz (acquired by Nuance, now Microsoft), and SVP of Product Operations at Sabrix (acquired by Thompson Reuters). He also held engineering leadership positions at Evant (acquired by Manhattan Associates), Extensity (IPO acquired by Geac), and Apple’s PowerBook and Hardware Division. Oney holds a BSEE from Rochester Institute of Technology.
